Platform Release Now Available - 17th April

This week we're excited to announce the release of our Template Studio! This update will give Growth & Enterprise clients the ability to customize ROLLER email and ticket templates. 

Key benefits include:

  • Ability to customize the look and feel of emails and tickets to align with your branding
  • Include personalised information & promotional content that relates to the products that were purchased
  • Emails will be optimised for mobile

Platform Release Now Available - 8th April

🖌 For the first week of April, our focus is on making general improvements, fixes and updates to the platform's interface:

  • To maximise tile real estate and improve efficiency, POS has been updated to show only the most recently available session as well as upcoming session times for the day
  • Playground has been reskinned to have a more prominent yellow banner to remind users that they are not in a live environment
  • Rearrangement of Terms & Conditions so the venue's T&Cs appear before the general ROLLER T&Cs

Platform Release Now Available - 27th March

🤩🎉  We're excited to introduce our new & improved Daily Capacity View! Based on your feedback, the team has added the following functionalities and improvements:

  • Splitting and categorising locations into multi-booking or single booking location 
  • Add a filter to view a particular product or group of products’ availabilities, and visually blocking out unavailable times  
  • View all bookings for a specific location or specific timeslot & location 
  • Get more details of a specific booking directly from the view 
  • The functionality to add a booking from a location or timeslot

    Platform Release Now Available - 26th February

    We're introducing some new functionalities to improve the existing platform features such as sessions, waivers in POS and some UI updates. Have a look below to see our latest updates 👇

    • Session schedule builder new functionality - Ability to generate multiple sessions when building a schedule utilising a start, end time and frequency, please view this article for step-by-step instructions. How do I activate this? Automatically updated for all sessions products
    • Waiver in POS updates - When attaching waivers to tickets, waivers will now display both date of birth and age for each waiver holder. For more information, please refer to this article. How do I activate this? Refresh your POS to see the updated change
    • New label for Imported bookings - Imported bookings will now be labelled accordingly so users can distinguish this, to see a list of booking labels, please read our updated article. How do I activate this? This will be displayed for all imported bookings automatically
    • Removal of legacy waiver from Activity page - to attach waivers to bookings from Activity page, it must be done directly from the booking itself by clicking the ‘Go to Booking’ button. How do I activate this? This will be updated when POS is refreshed

    • Introducing POS Templates - create custom POS templates for each area of the business such as Front of House or Cafe. This new functionality allows you to create multiple devices from set templates and have identical menus & items for sale. Please read more on our Knowledge Base article. How do I activate this? No action is required
    • Venue Manager navigation updates - There is a new area in the main navigation called "Apps", please note that this is where POS Device settings in VM is now located. Please see our updated site map. How do I activate this? This update is automatic
    • New open till setting - customise the setting to open the till from the POS Activity stream and whether additional steps are required, please see our updated POS setting list via this article. How do I activate this? Head to the POS Device settings of each device and toggle the setting to 'Yes' if staff are required to leave a note, or switch it to 'No' if the step isn't required
    • Implementation on reCAPTCHA - this is a measure to prevent spam for all standalone forms which asks users to click a checkbox to proceed with form submission. Please note that this is not available on checkout or waiver forms. How do I activate this? This is automatically added to all standalone forms

    • Redeeming gift cards as a payment method in Venue Manager - when taking payment for a booking, gift cards can now be redeemed directly when selecting the Take Payment method. How do I activate this? No activation required. Please read our Knowledge Base article for step-by-step instructions
    • Updates to the Party Runsheet PDF - The PDF now exports additional information such as Booking Cost, Booking Notes and POS Notes. How do I activate this? All updates are automatic. To see the changes made to the downloadable PDF, please click here
    • Removal of draft product functionality - with the Checkout functionality, the draft product option has been made redundant as products are not published live on any ROLLER URL unless added to a checkout by a user. How do I activate this? Please note, this is live with release and any previously created drafts will remain in the platform
