Platform Release Now Available - 18th July

💪🏽 This week's release is focused on maintenance and implementing fixes for the ROLLER platform. Read below to see all updates 👇

    The search bar in VM validation is a maximum input of 150 characters (VM-8781)
  • UX updates to POS images
    POS stock images no longer appearing dispersed on screen (BB-3182)
  • Update to users invited via email
    Fix implemented for staff invited via email to allow registration of their account and password (BB-4476)
  • Validation for image uploaders
    Update to image uploaders in venue settings to enforce image size limitations (BB-4481)
  • Till History report adjustments
    Credit card refunds fixed to subtract instead of add to the Till History report (BB-4541)
  • Memberships beta updates
    Update to availability data for memberships (BB-4546)
  • Pass product instructions HQ upgrades
    Production instructions now displaying for Pass product for venues using HQ beta (BB-4580)
  • Improvements to POS discount calculations
    Implemented updates for certain discount scenarios on POS (BB-4621)

Platform Release Now Available - 27th June

👋 This week, we have released updates focused mainly on performance & infrastructure, please read below to view what's new:

  • Deferred revenue report adjustments
    Minor adjustments to the report's columns - the 'earliest booking date' field has been renamed to the 'recognised date' which lists the expiry date of the item from the revenue data and the addition of the new column for 'transaction date' which lists the date of the first transaction against the booking
  • Database cluster upgrade 
    Deployed and migrated to a new database cluster to improve the performance & availability of the ROLLER service

    Implemented fix for passes ‘fixed date’ option in advanced settings and ’see when customers can change this pass online’ option which were causing date discrepancies (BB-2897 and BB-3468)

    Updated displays for ticket types on Master Ticket PDF (BB-4548)

Platform Release Now Available - 13th June

✨ Our release includes further improvements to functionality and UX updates to various areas of the VM (Venue Manager) 👇

  • Copying schedules
    When creating or editing session products you can now copy a schedule from another product. View our updated Sessions article.
  • Staff Grid additional filters
    The Staff page has been updated to include a search field and the role filter will include custom roles. 
  • App navigation updates
    All Apps have been consolidated to the Apps menu in the sidebar. Time Tracker, Waiver Kiosk and Self Serve Kiosk have been moved to this menu & 'Launch POS' moved to the POS sub-menu menu. Please read our updated article to see the new sitemap.

    Implemented a fix for Manager Codes adjusting the total payment amount on POS (BB-2670)

    Update to fix date in 'Advanced Settings' to prevent it from adjusting the date after publishing (BB-2897)

    Exclusion dates no longer display 1 day ahead for UTC +12 timezone (BB-3274)

  • Waiver updates for Self Serve Kiosk
    Adjustments to 'I have a booking flow' for attaching waivers to tickets (BB-4202)
  • Transaction by Product report adjustments
    Report updated to reflect Recurring Passes (BB-4442)
  • Update to Discounts logic
    Adjustments in logic for itemized discounts valid for 'x' number of uses and for consecutive attempts (BB-4445)
  • Roles and bookings fix implemented
    Ability to add staff roles to bookings has been reinstated (BB-4461)
  • Form i-Frame updates
    Update form code to prevent autoscrolling to the top of the form (BB-4462)

Platform Release Now Available - 30th May

It's release day again 🙌Today's release brings with it a range of UX and functionality enhancements along with all our usual platform fixes and improvements. 

  • Email modal updates
    We've made improvements to our booking confirmation email modal, receipt email modal & gift card email modal so you can easily send to multiple recipients.
  • POS Waiver Searching
    New UX updates will make it very clear when your waiver search has returned no results & help you to perform an instant online search.
  • Update to creating multiple session schedules
    If you're creating a schedule using our multiple sessions functionality, you now have the ability to choose session frequencies of 1h 15m, 1h 30m and 1h 45m to simplify & speed up the job.

      We've changed the doorlist operator role to now say POS operator. Click here for more information on staff roles (VM-8352)
    • Default column change for reports
      We've updated the default columns displayed in our reports to be more user friendly (VM-8552)
    • Fix for saving phone number in VM
      We've rectified certain scenarios not allowing users to save contact numbers (BB-3219)
    • Policy page UI updates
      We've updated copy and fixed UI around accept marketing functionality (BB-3244)
    • Updating ticket value in POS & Waiver Kiosk
      We've streamlined the way we display tickets when add ons are purchased through POS & Waiver Kiosk (BB-3532)
    • Waiver Kiosk UI Improvements
      Bookings with no booking holder information will now show their clickable handle on Waiver Kiosk (BB-3638)
    • Improvements around checkout capacity messaging
      We've fixed capacity messaging in the Checkout relating to scenarios where products have a minimum purchase set (BB-3717)
    • Fix for transactions not being applied to a booking
      We made fixes around Vantiv payments being taken in POS not updating the booking correctly (BB-3800)
    • Resolution for max purchase limit challenge
      We've made updates so that any changes made to the max purchase limit for standard passes will save correctly (BB-3851)
    • Daily Capacity display improvements
      We've fixed an intermittent challenge that would stop the user from seeing all locations in our daily capacity view (BB-4162)
    • HQ Product Control UI updates
      Venue will no longer be able to see all products by default if they aren't tagged (BB-4166)
    • Waiver accept marketing enhancement
      Customers who accept marketing through their waiver will now appear in segments (BB-4176)
    • PNG receipts now printing in Kina
      Venues in PNG will now have kina currency symbol printed on their POS receipts (BB-4193)
    • Customer purchase limit fix
      Challenges around purchase limit per customer have now been rectified for standard passes (BB-4334)
    • Fix for package not selling in POS
      Edge-case scenario where a package couldn't be purchased through POS has been resolved (BB-4341)
    • Venue copying enhancements
      Functionality improvements around our ability to copy venues (BB-4359) & (BB-4367)
    • HQ Memberships product creation fix
      We've improved validation to enhance the ability to create Memberships using the HQ functionality (BB-4369)
    • Confirmation email direction updates
      Get directions link in confirmation email is now going to the alternate address if specified (BB-4370)
    • Cancel Button UI Update
      Cancel button colours to be changed for POS payments (POS-581)

    • Update to Tipping & POS receipts - Platforms utilising the tipping functionality will now have the ability to display suggested tip amounts for receipts printed from the booking details area in POS, this will apply for all existing bookings. How do I activate this? No action required, this is available to all clients with the tipping functionality

    Platform Release Now Available - 1st May

    ✨ Happy May! We're always looking at new ways to help you in day-to-day ops and improve the general experience of the platform. Read below to read our latest and greatest updates 👇

    • Booking confirmation feature - this functionality is great for managing functions or group booking products within a booking team such as a call centre. It allows for applying a confirmed or unconfirmed status for tentative bookings. How do I activate this? This is automatically available, to activate this for specific products, please read our article
    • New invoice email design - the look and feel for the invoice email template has been refreshed to be in line with our newer designs. How do I activate this? Available to everyone using the Invoice functionality, to see the update, please click here 
    • Email send outs - the new email and ticket templates will start getting sent out from your platform to customers from today. How do I activate this? No further action is necessary. Starter clients will get the new templates by default and clients with Template Studio still have the ability to customise the designs.

    This week we're excited to announce the release of our Template Studio! This update will give Growth & Enterprise clients the ability to customize ROLLER email and ticket templates. 

    Key benefits include:

    • Ability to customize the look and feel of emails and tickets to align with your branding
    • Include personalised information & promotional content that relates to the products that were purchased
    • Emails will be optimised for mobile

    Platform Release Now Available - 8th April

    🖌 For the first week of April, our focus is on making general improvements, fixes and updates to the platform's interface:

    • To maximise tile real estate and improve efficiency, POS has been updated to show only the most recently available session as well as upcoming session times for the day
    • Playground has been reskinned to have a more prominent yellow banner to remind users that they are not in a live environment
    • Rearrangement of Terms & Conditions so the venue's T&Cs appear before the general ROLLER T&Cs

    🤩🎉  We're excited to introduce our new & improved Daily Capacity View! Based on your feedback, the team has added the following functionalities and improvements:

    • Splitting and categorising locations into multi-booking or single booking location 
    • Add a filter to view a particular product or group of products’ availabilities, and visually blocking out unavailable times  
    • View all bookings for a specific location or specific timeslot & location 
    • Get more details of a specific booking directly from the view
