Fewer duplicate waivers, faster entries, happier guests 🥰

We've successfully decreased duplicate minor waiver signings in a test group, going from about 8% to only 1.4%.

How? We set the default option in the online waiver form to "include minors", reducing the chances of parents or guardians overlooking it.

If your venue has more waivers signed with waivers, we've now made this default setting active. This means the option to include minors is pre-selected when guests fill out a waiver.

You can check out this new setting under Documents > Waivers > Waiver details.

Upsell more products at checkout to receive up to 9% extra revenue!

Our latest update to the Progressive Checkout enables you to upsell more products and increase guest spend at your checkout. It's similar to the 2nd product page in the Legacy Checkout, but way better! With these enhancements, configure Progressive Checkout to:

  • Offer session passes or standard passes as an upsell
  • Upsell specific products based on the guests' basket

Our new online accounts feature allows guests to manage their bookings and memberships, saving you time manually editing bookings and giving guests more flexibility. Guests can sign up for an online account to:

  • Redeem memberships and update payment info

Maximize efficiency with the Activity Center + Notification Control! 🚀🌟


We've upgraded the Inbox to the new Activity Center for all our customers, making it easier to manage tasks and notifications from one centralized space in Venue Manager. 

Right now, you can be notified of guest emails, inquiry forms, and when a tentative booking is about to be canceled. If you have any suggestions for other notifications to go the activity, we'd love to hear! Let us know in the community roadmap.

And now with added Notification Control, you can customize which messages and alerts you and your team receive, making sure everyone stays focused on what's important. Streamline your workflow and keep your team on task with this efficient, user-friendly update.

Boost conversion rates for payment link emails! 💸

In our latest update, we've introduced customizable email templates for payment link and canceled tentative bookings. Now, you can customize the wording and tone to match your brand, just like other guest-facing emails. You’ll also be able to translate them into other languages.

What's more? We've made some changes to increase the conversion rate of your payment link emails. You can now include an Order section to show the guest exactly what they are paying for, providing better context and credibility, and a Security note to reassure guests that their data is secure. 🛡️

Find these new templates in Venue Manager under Settings > Design > Email templates. 

Note: These email templates are automatically sent to guests on all plans. Customization is exclusive to Pro plans or higher. 🌟

  • Booking Payments - Corrected a display issue that displayed a Dunning in progress message for payments even after a valid payment was accepted and no further dunning was taking place.
  • Google Analytics - Updated the GTM triggers when a forced addon is added to cart, so that only one add_to_cart event is triggered
  • Legacy Checkouts - Progressive Checkouts have been enhanced so that any product type can be sold as an upsell within the "add-ons" section of the checkout. This means that session and standard based products can be sold to guests during the checkout flow without needing a second product page.

    • Updated the payment box in progressive checkout to correctly show French language when the venue language was overridden via the checkout URL
    • Progressive Checkouts have been enhanced so that any product type can be sold as an upsell within the "add-ons" section of the checkout. This means that session and standard based products can be sold to guests during the checkout flow without needing a second product page.
    • Fixed an issue which allowed checkouts to be saved with a section that included 0 products

Increase your profit margins with service fees at POS!

POS now can be enabled to charge service fees for purchases, helping you to offset rising expenses and payment processing costs - service fees increase your profit margins for each transaction without changing the pricing of your products!

  • Configure flat $ or variable % fees at POS
  • Specify fees for card payments at POS
  • Take greater control over all fees charged to guests 

Fees can be configured via Settings > Account > Taxes & fees and once configured, these fees will automatically apply and be clearly displayed for POS operators and on the guest’s receipt.

By using fees, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Service Charge Policy.

Streamline your booking processes using Tentative Bookings

Managing unpaid payment payments and keeping track of invoices can be challenging. It often involves a lot of manual effort, leading to missed opportunities and slowing down operations. Tentative Bookings let you automate this process. By setting a hold period for your bookings, guests have a time limit, so if payment isn't received, bookings will be automatically canceled to free up capacity. This eliminates the need for manual tracking and cancellation of unpaid bookings, saving valuable time and reducing the risk of lost revenue from unused spaces.

To get started with Tentative Bookings, first set up your preferred default hold period in Venue settings. Then, whenever you create a new booking in Venue Manager it will automatically use this default hold period, with the option to override if required. Guests will be notified of their hold period when they’re sent a payment link. If payment isn’t received in time, their booking will be automatically canceled, streamlining your processes and maximizing your revenue.
