Platform Updates, Fixes And Enhancements

Venue Operations

  • Accounts: Multi-venue users can now set and change their default venue.
  • API
    • You can now create and manage 3rd party gift cards via the ROLLER API.
    • You can now filter booking-updated webhooks by application via the ROLLER API.
    • You can now store metadata against bookings via the ROLLER API.
    • You can now retrieve product calendar availability schedules via the ROLLER API.
    • You can now manage venue-level external identifiers via the ROLLER API.
    • Added API enhancements to support the GoTab integration.
    • Fixed an issue that prevented HQ API keys from being deleted.
  • Consecutive Sessions: Consecutive sessions can now be configured at HQ and HQ-controlled venues to streamline booking and upsell flows.
  • Gift Cards: Multi-venue gift cards can now be found by searching for Guest Name or Booking ID, from any network venue.
  • Integrations: You can now create cashless card bundles to assign multiple variations at once across Sacoa, Intercard, and Amusement Connect integrations.
  • Price Rules
    • You can now hide the quantity-based price rule highlight on the progressive checkout.
    • HQ can now let controlled venues override certain time-based price rules dates for regional or school holidays.
    • Fixed an issue where products with price rules displayed different pricing between Venue Manager and the progressive checkout.
  • Memberships: New Member Redemptions report that focuses on Member visits, redemptions and Member home venue has been added to the ROLLER reporting catalogue. 
  • Tax
    • Tax components are now broken down on receipts and invoices for Quebec and French compliance.
    • Tax totals can now be broken down by tax rate in Venue Manager, receipts, and invoices.
  • Bookings: Fixed an issue where the unit price field reverted to the first digit of the original price when edited using backspace.
  • Discount Codes
    • Fixed an issue where HQ-managed discount codes disappeared after venue product lists were updated, making previously issued codes unusable.
    • Fixed an issue where users could not access the Create HQ Discount Codes page at the HQ venue.
  • Discounts: Fixed an issue where discount codes could not be created or edited without the "Can Access Segment Settings" permission.
  • Memberships
    • Fixed an issue where recurring membership charges incorrectly triggered activation fee refunds.
    • Fixed an issue where discounted amounts incorrectly counted towards revenue when a discounted booking with a one-off membership was cancelled.
  • Online Checkout: Fixed an issue where Apple Pay was not working on payment links.
  • POS: Fixed an issue where Girocard payments could result in duplicate charges with only one logged in Venue Manager.
  • Product Management: Fixed an issue where the "Master ticket code" field was missing from variation settings for pass and gift card products in HQ venues.
  • Reports
    • Fixed intermittent access issues affecting the Monthly Fee & Tax Statement reports in Venue Manager.
    • Fixed an issue where Gross Sales amounts were inflated on the Package Product Sales Report when multiple packages were sold.
    • Fixed an issue where the ROLLER Payments Transaction Report was missing the booking ID for successful card payments.
  • Schedules: Fixed an issue where the "Limit Bookings per Start Time" field displayed raw text instead of "No Limits".
  • Waivers: Fixed an issue where waiver requests failed with a generic "Something went wrong" error when the recipient name exceeded 25 characters.

Guest Experience

  • Gift Cards: Fixed a checkout performance delay when purchasing gift cards through the promotional gift card flow.
  • Memberships: Fixed an issue where "Edit items" on POS prevented additions of $0 cost memberships.
  • Mobile F&B Ordering: Fixed an issue where the print button did not appear when the KDS was the only print station available.
  • Online Accounts: Fixed an issue where guests could not edit their booking if the product schedule had been updated since the guest made the booking.
  • Online Checkout: Fixed an issue where products marked "Not for individual sale" still appeared in the progressive checkout.
  • POS
    • Fixed a caching issue that caused POS performance to slow down when fetching packages.
    • Fixed an issue where packages incorrectly showed as sold out in POS when using a single-product resource.
  • Receipts: Fixed an issue where a checkout assigned to multiple print stations on a single device incorrectly displayed the reprint label.
